One thing that is of absolute certainty is the impermanence of things. Anything can be gone in the next moment. And this isn’t to terrify you. It is to inspire you to jump in, to splash, to make snow angels, to laugh, to hold, to really enjoy. Take nothing for granted.

The warrior walks with ease in his step
lightness
careful to flow through fields
melt into the earth
the spaces
dissolve with time
But should an attack arise from the outside
which is the nature of this earthly experience
the warrior must be quick to act
to draw his sword
for his life is precious
and must be defended and guarded
at all costs
