Thank you for all of the things that didn't work out
For the love that wasn't returned
For the places that didn't feel like home
Now I see
You were preparing me
For the blessings that are truly meant for me

All the seasons of my life
The bright days without a cloud in the sky
The dark heavy cold rains
The crisp whips of wind through my hair
I love it all
For I am alive
-
Unburden yourself with the harms
done to you
Forgiveness should come easy
Why?
Because we have been the villain also
It is an even playing field

when you truly honor yourself...
your life becomes unconventional
wild
unwritten
your spirit has its own language
it needs to speak
it doesn't fit into molds
it isn't tired
let your life be the adventure it wants to be
it's your one and only
-
It's all experience
No matter how difficult
It's all meant to tell you
You can do this
You can do this
You can do this

It is wisdom to deeply understand
That sometimes there is no more to be done
You have fought the good fight
You have defended, been the aggressor,
tried to turn the tides...
used up everything you have...
to understand you must withdraw
Sometimes it is the accumulation of all these efforts
There is not one final blow
That causes the retreat
This is true power
knowing when to walk away
True strength
knowing when things are futile

Pain is pain
I think to myself.. no one could possibly understand my pain..
But.. can I possibly understand your pain?
Maybe we aren't so far apart after all
-
I am a pillar of strength
Yet not let me be too strong
Where I do not allow life to move me
Where I do not allow love into my heart
-
The warrior walks with ease in his step
lightness
careful to flow through fields
melt into the earth
the spaces
dissolve with time
But should an attack arise from the outside
which is the nature of this earthly experience
the warrior must be quick to act
to draw his sword
for his life is precious
and must be defended and guarded
at all costs

It doesn't matter what happens
when you really start to love yourself
and choose yourself...
you can bear anything

Always carry your sword
There are tests that arise
on your spiritual journey
as you evolve, shine
people and things will be attracted to your light
want to use it, dampen it, kill it, snuff it out, feed off of it
what you have true power
what they have is force
remember your light is always stronger than these forces
shine and stand strong
also remember it is your responsibility to protect your light
you need to have hard no's in what you allow to affect you
you need to always carry your sword

All that not enoughness?
All that pain of being forgotten, overlooked?
Turn within
You must be enough for you
It must come from you
It could never come from outside
